[pre alpha] Station Call

This is an unfinished draft, but here's the hook anyways to get you excited for when its playable

It is a dark winter night in San Francisco. Pacific winds steal the city’s meager warmth and carry it off into the sky. The streets are cold, at least to those who haven’t lived with snow. Yuppies, students, and transient workers assemble beneath the unruly earth on BART platforms across the city, heading for lower rents and cheaper food. An Antioch-bound, yellow-line train sets off from Millbrae to give Bay Area commuters their last call. Space age for when it was made, the aluminum hull is marred, the seats are worn, and its signs are desecrated. Strangers board near midnight, the investigators among them, and sit as far from one another as possible. A BART police officer makes his rounds. A homeless man wonders if he’ll luck out and get to sleep in the traincar overnight again. A young businessman swipes on his phone, looking dejected. The train operator announces the 50 year anniversary of Bay Area Rapid Transit service, and that it’s the last ride for this legacy fleet train.
